I recently stayed at Lavendish Wild Safari for a few days during my visit to the beautiful lake area. The hotel's location was perfect, offering stunning views of the lake and the Knuckles Range. It was also conveniently close to Wasgamuwa National Park, which was a highlight of my trip. The food at the hotel was absolutely amazing, with some of the best local dishes I've ever had in Sri Lanka, especially the Vegetarian Set and Sri Lankan breakfast. The staff were courteous and efficient, despite some language barriers. The bedroom had a breathtaking view of the lake, and the swimming pool was a clean and refreshing bonus. The hotel also organized a fantastic safari at Wasgamuwa National Park, with an excellent guide and driver, allowing us to witness incredible wildlife encounters.
